Melissa Cater

Melissa consults on digital content design, creation and strategy and facilitates our online training.

Melissa is a digital content expert. She consults in content design, strategy, planning and creation and maintains and facilitates our training courses.

She has been working with web content for over 20 years. Melissa started as a journalist working on Fairfax’s finance publication afr.com.au and the (now defunct) employment classifieds website mycareer.com.au. After a short stint as editor of a Victoria government marketing website, Melissa went freelance to focus on creating user-centric content. She has specialised in creating content that is accessible, relevant and useful ‘for humans’.

Melissa is a member of Plain Language Association International.

Melissa has a Certificate in Web Accessibility, a Bachelor of Arts, Communications and a Master of Arts, Art Administration.
